The sad experience of many Japanese Canadians was to be transported to internment camps. This was done because many in the government, as well as a fair portion of the Canadian population, felt that the Japanese Canadians posed a threat to national secerity

The Great Depression was a severe worldwide depression that was destroying our economy in the decade following World War II.

The Great Depression had overwhelming and disastrous effects in almost every country, rich and poor. Personal income, tax revenue, profits and prices dropped, and international trade immerged by a half to two-thirds and unemployment in the U.S rose to about 25%, and in some countries rose as musch as 33%.

Living

Living was somewhat difficuoly from the great depression and all, and many people were unemployed, and many families didn't have much food.

During the year of 30's most farmers would get a big amount of rain, and then have healthy crops, but once the year changed so did the weather.

Politics

The elections resulted in a severe setback for the Republican Party, which barely handled...

Woman in the 1920's worked alot, and if they worked, they worked until they were married and many women were seen as homemakers.

A women in the in the 1920's, her "real space", for any women, would be home.

And also the flapper era became another kind of declaration.

Economy

Economy in the 1920's was viewed as a "era of great economic prosperity driven by the introduction of a wide array of new consumer goods" ( "" spiritus-temporis, site )

The people who were benefitting most from the increasing prosperity were the people living in the areas of industry and the cities.
Those living outside this, the "rural" areas did not benefit and actually causing it to get worse bu the widespread drought

Entertainment

The 1920's was known as the"Jazz Age"or also known as "The Turning Point" in music, because it was very popular and is beginning off it's talents, and there were many people who made that music big and made it happen.

Children during world war 1 suffered just the same as everyone else did. Most of them feared their life and watched family members die, others lived in fear praying for there life, and didn't even have a clue the war was going on.

Someone had to do the jobs the men did, and when men left to go fight in ww1, that's exactly what they did.

Women during World War One were mostly there as nurses. The women were there to help treat the wounds the men had got during the war. The women also were there to help the men who felt traumatized from the war.
